Portlanders Voice Opinions On Proposed Budget

(Portland, OR)  --  Several Portlanders are voicing concern over the city budget.  Dozens of residents turned out to a city budget meeting at Roosevelt High School last night to sound off on the budget.  Some residents expressed concern over potential loss in funding for preschools and community centers.  Mayor Ted Wheeler says the city needs to slash its budget next year by five-percent due to rising costs.  City council members will vote on the budget in June.
