(Salem, OR) -- The Oregon State Bar is getting blowback for coming out against white nationalist violence. "OregonLive" reports that the organization included in a recent bulletin to members two documents that are drawing fire. One, signed by board officials, denounces a "current climate of violence" that threatens the rule of law. The second statement, from groups supporting the bar's document, blames President Trump for catering to the white nationalist movement. A bar spokeswoman says six lawyers have requested a refund of their annual dues so far, and one partial refund has been approved.
