(Portland, OR)  --  A Portland man is facing charges in connection to an alleged Lego theft ring.  Portland police have arrested 40-year-old Raji Afife Azar for the 50-thousand-dollar illicit Lego operation.  They say Azar solicited theft of the popular building toys on websites like Craigslist and OfferUp.  Azar allegedly would buy Legos and other items stolen from Fred Meyer stores, then sell them online.  Police say they worked with investigators from the Fred Meyer Organized Retail Theft Unit to arrest Azar late last week after he got what he thought were stolen Legos from undercover officers.
