Police ID Man Injured In Officer-Involved Shooting

(Portland, OR)  --  Police are releasing the identity of a man who was injured in an officer-involved shooting in Washington County.  Police say 43-year-old Daniel McNamara was having a mental health crisis last Wednesday when the Crisis Negotiation Unit responded to try to peacefully resolve the situation.  Police say officers stayed on scene for two hours before McNamara opened fire on them, prompting them to shoot back.  McNama was released from the hospital yesterday and was booked into Washington County Jail.  Police have identified the officers involved as officers Justin Hubbenette and David Hawley of Hillsboro, Corporal Cade Edwards of the Washington County Sheriff's Office and Deputy Earl Brown of the Washington County Sheriff's Office.
