Cops Cleared In Shooting Death

(Portland, OR)  --  Half a dozen police officers are escaping charges after shooting a man to death inside a homeless shelter.  A grand jury has determined the six officers who killed 48-year-old John Andrew Elifritz inside Cityteam Ministries on April 7th acted in self-defense and were justified in doing so.  The Multnomah County District Attorney's Office says the grand jury heard testimony for four days before coming to its decision.
