Group Rallies For Gun Rights 2 Days After Deadly School Shooting

(Vancouver, WA)  --  Some Washington residents are rallying in support of gun rights, just days after ten people were killed in a school shooting in Texas.  A small crowd gathered last night in McGraw Square near Westlake Park for a rally organized by the Vancouver-based alt-right group Patriot Prayer.  The group says Friday's deadly shooting at a Texas high school highlights the need for action to protect gun rights and support open-carry laws.  The group says it wants school staff members to be able to carry guns on campus to protect themselves and their students.
