(Portland, OR)  --  A homicide investigation is underway into the death of a woman who was found injured on a sidewalk downtown.  Police responded to the area of Southwest 2nd Avenue and Ash Street last night on reports of the woman lying on the sidewalk.  Police say officers tried to give her first aid, but she died at the scene.  It's not yet clear how the woman became injured.
