(Portland, OR)  --  Officials say squirrels were responsible for a power outage that left thousands of people in the dark in Portland's Pearl District.  Portland General Electric says yesterday morning's outage left more than 27-hundred people without power.  The outage was first reported at around 7:30 yesterday morning, with a secondary outage hitting just after power was restored from the first outage.
