(Salem, OR)  --  Oregon politicians are lining up for a fight over a new Supreme Court justice.  U.S. Senator Jeff Merkley, U.S. Representative Suzanne Bonamici and Governor Kate Brown said today they'll work to block any nominee who opposes abortion rights.  They are urging the state's residents to write, email or call their senators and representatives to demand a more mainstream nomination.  "OregonLive" reports that Merkley says he'll "push back fiercely" against what he called "extremist" choices.
