(Salem, OR) -- Nike appears to be getting political. "The Oregonian" reports that the Beaverton-based firm is investing 100-thousand dollars in a political action committee formed by one of its top executives. The Common Good Fund was started by Nike's senior director of government and public affairs, Julia Brim-Edwards. Neither she nor Nike's PR team have responded yet to questions about why the PAC was formed, what it will do and how much Nike plans to spend on political influence.
