(Portland, OR) -- A Vancouver man is facing a hefty fine and possible jail time after pleading guilty to actions that forced the diversion of a Delta Airlines flight. Twenty-nine-year-old Bolutife Olorunda entered the plea yesterday in connection to the Portland-to-Atlanta flight May 30th. Prosecutors say he verbally assaulted a flight attendant while also screaming and singing loudly. The pilot declared an emergency and made a landing in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Olorunda has agreed to pay Delta more than nine-thousand dollars for the incident, and he could also face a five-thousand-dollar fine along with six months in prison.
