(Portland, OR) -- Eight people are behind bars after a demonstration at Portland's ICE headquarters. OregonLive reports that a group of protesters linked arms yesterday morning and blocked the way as a van tried to leave the Immigration and Customs Enforcement building. The demonstrators referred to the van as a deportation bus. Eight of them were handcuffed after they refused federal officers' orders to get out of the way. Protesters have been camped out at the facility since mid-June and say they'll stay until the ICE office is shut down.
