(Portland, OR)  --  A motorcyclist is dead following a crash near the Independence Bridge.  Police say the biker was riding west on River Road South yesterday afternoon when they crashed into a pickup truck while turning a corner.  The biker was pronounced dead at the scene.  The other driver was uninjured.
