(Beaverton, OR) -- A man is facing charges after allegedly leading Beaverton police on a high-speed car chase before ending up in a pond Wednesday afternoon. Police say it started a little after 2 p.m. when officers on a call recognized a suspect wanted on a warrant. Twenty-six-year-old Chase Larrazabal took off and tried to ram several vehicles before crashing into two cars and driving into a pond near Murray and Scholls Ferry Road. Following a trip to the hospital, he was booked on assault, reckless driving and other charges.
