(Portland, OR)  --  A Bend man is recovering after spraining his ankle while climbing Mount Jefferson.  The Oregon National Guard says crews rescued 64-year-old Jonathan Sprecher Saturday afternoon.  The man had reportedly called 9-1-1 from the mountain Friday night after spraining his ankle.  Search and rescue crews found him the following morning and airlifted him to safety.
