(Portland, OR) -- Portland police officers are on the scene of the Occupy ICE camp in southwest Portland. KATU reports officers arrived at the camp around 4:30 this morning to begin clearing it out. Officers informed the few remaining protesters that the roads were closed and they had to leave. Just over a dozen protesters remained camped out near the ICE facility following a midnight deadline to vacate. Demonstrators had been camped out at the facility since June 17th to protest the Trump administration's "zero tolerance" immigration policy which resulted in the mass separation of children from their immigrant parents at the U.S.-Mexico border.
