(Portland, OR)  --  Gateway Discovery Park is now open in northeast Portland.  The park near the Gateway Shopping Center near 106th and Halsey opened Thursday, and a grand opening ceremony took place Saturday.  The new park features picnic areas, a playground and a skate park.
