(Portland, OR)  --  One man is facing charges after allegedly hitting another man in the face with a pole during a protest outside City Hall.  Police arrested 33-year-old William B. Pierce yesterday.  Police say he struck the man following an argument over sidewalk accessibility in front of City Hall near the protest.  Pierce is facing a charge of second-degree assault.
