Tiffini Mueller with Dove Lewis Animal Hospital in Portland says watch for the signs of hypothermia. Mueller says contact your veterinarian if your pet exhibits any of the effects of the severe cold. Otherwise, making sure pets have a warm place to stay and plenty of water are good rules to follow when the temperatures drop.
