(Cougar, WA)  --  Police are searching for a missing man near Mount St. Helens in southern Washington state.  The Cowlitz County Sheriff's Office says 40-year-old Matthew Matheny of Ohio has been missing since Thursday morning, when he reportedly took off on a trip to Mount St. Helens.  A friend filed a missing persons report after he failed to return.
