(Vancouver, WA)  --  Police say a gas leak forced evacuations in a Vancouver neighborhood last night after a man cut open a gas line in his yard.  Firefighters responded to the home on Norris Road around 7 p.m.  Fire officials say the man was trying to move a gas line in his front yard when he cut into the line, thinking it was inactive.  He later called 9-1-1 after realizing the line was live.
