Woman Charged For Pushing Friend Off Washington Bridge

(Vancouver, WA)  --  Prosecutors are charging a Washington woman who pushed her teenage friend off a 60-foot bridge with reckless endangerment.  Charges were filed Friday against 18-year-old Taylor Smith, who could get up to a year in jail and a fine of five-thousand dollars.  A viral video shows Smith pushing 16-year-old Jordan Holgerson off a bridge on the Lewis River earlier this month.  Holgerson suffered six broken ribs, a punctured lung and air bubbles in her chest.  Smith told police she pushed her friend because she was trying to help her overcome her fear, and didn't mean to hurt her.
