Magnitude 6.3 Earthquake Hits Off Oregon Coast

(Bandon, OR)  --  There are no reports of damage or a tsunami warning after a powerful earthquake struck off the coast of Oregon early today.  The U.S. Geological Survey says the 6.3-magnitude quake hit nearly 190 miles west of the town of Bandon, about four and-a-half hours southwest of Portland.  The U.S.G.S. says it was recorded at a depth of about six miles.
