(Portland, OR)  --  A Portland Police officer and search and rescue volunteer is dead after suffering a heart attack on Mount Hood.  Mountain Wave Search and Rescue says Grant Shirahama was hiking Mount Hood on Friday when he suffered a heart attack and died.  Shirahama worked as a production assistant for KATU News and a cameraman for KGW before moving on to join the Portland Police Bureau as a Youth Services Division Student Resource Officer.
