(Beaverton, OR) -- Beaverton-based Nike is kicking in 25-thousand dollars to Governor Kate Brown's re-election campaign. OregonLive reports that it's an unusually large political donation for the company, which usually limits contributions to one or two-thousand dollars. Nike co-founder Phil Knight gave an even bigger gift to Brown's opponent last year. His half-million-dollar contribution to Republican Knute Buehler's campaign was his largest ever.
