Nike Donates $25K To Governor Brown's Re-Election Campaign

(Beaverton, OR)  --  Beaverton-based Nike is kicking in 25-thousand dollars to Governor Kate Brown's re-election campaign.  OregonLive reports that it's an unusually large political donation for the company, which usually limits contributions to one or two-thousand dollars.  Nike co-founder Phil Knight gave an even bigger gift to Brown's opponent last year.  His half-million-dollar contribution to Republican Knute Buehler's campaign was his largest ever.
