(Portland, OR)  --  Oregon's Humane Society is under investigation as agents are accused of mishandling evidence.  Oregon State Police have suspended the agency's law enforcement credentials in light of the allegations.  The Oregonian reports that a number of animal abuse and neglect cases could be thrown out if the accusations are true.  Details of the allegations were not immediately available, but a state police superintendent says it's "clear" that an investigation of the agents' actions is necessary.
