Two Attorneys Sue State Bar Over Mandatory Dues

(Portland, OR)  --  A pair of attorneys are suing the state bar, saying they shouldn't have to pay fees to practice law.  The attorneys from West Linn and Klamath Falls filed a lawsuit Wednesday in Portland federal court.  They claim the bar is violating their constitutional rights by demanding the payments.  They're citing a recent U.S. Supreme Court ruling that says public employees cannot be required to pay union dues if they opt out of membership.
