(Portland, OR)  --  A 66-year-old man is facing charges after allegedly setting his own home on fire.  Police arrested Gumersindo Guavaracarlo yesterday morning for arson for the fire at his apartment on Southeast Holgate Boulevard.  Witnesses say he briefly barricaded himself inside the burning apartment before finally jumping out a window.  Guavaracarlo's roommate tells KATU-2 he'd been experiencing mental health issues over the past few months.
