Portland Fast Food Joint Mulls Political Buttons

(Portland, OR)  --  Employee opinions are pushing buttons at a Portland Burgerville location.  The recently unionized staff have taken to wearing buttons that sum up their political leanings.  Ten workers were sent home last month when they wore badges that said, "Abolish ICE" and "No One Is Illegal."  OregonLive reports that a day later the company rescinded its rule, at least temporarily, taking the workers back and giving them back pay.  Now management is caught between workers who want to express themselves and customers who don't necessarily want a political confrontation where they eat.  The company is still trying to come up with a button plan that works for both sides.
