(Beaverton, OR)  --  Beaverton-based Nike's new ad featuring Colin Kaepernick will air during the NFL season opener tonight.  Nike says the ad will run this week during the U.S. Open, Major League baseball games, college football, and during the season opener between the Atlanta Falcons and the Philadelphia Eagles.  The ad features Kaepernick, who created a firestorm when he began kneeling during the national anthem before games to protest racial injustice.  A two-minute version of the ad showing now on Twitter features other prominent athletes as well, including LeBron James and Serena Williams.
