(Portland, OR) -- A Portland man is facing charges for the sexual assault of a woman in southeast Portland. Police arrested Kevin Contreras-Mendoza late last week for the assault that happened along Southeast Division Street near Cesar E. Chavez Boulevard on the Fourth of July. Police say the woman was walking home when Contreras-Mendoza grabbed onto her and began groping her. Contreras-Mendoza fled after the woman screamed, catching the attention of two witnesses at a nearby gym.
