(Portland, OR) -- More than a dozen state lawmakers are urging the state not to appeal a court decision involving TriMet. OregonLive reports that 13 Democrats from Multnomah, Washington and Clackamas counties sent a letter Tuesday to state Attorney General Ellen Rosenblum. They say they believe the decision was correct. A judge ruled on Friday that the public transportation agency's search and arrest of fare evaders ran against the state's constitution.
