(Portland, OR)  --  One man is dead after being shot by police in downtown Portland.  Police say officers were responding to a shooting near Southwest 3rd Avenue and Harvey Milk Street early yesterday morning when they opened fire on the suspect.  Police say the man shot and injured two other people before they opened fire on him.  He died in a hospital.  The officers who opened fire have been placed on paid administrative leave.
