(Portland, OR)  --  A family dog is lucky to be alive after being rescued from a house fire in northeast Portland.  Firefighters rescued the pup from the basement of a burning home on Northeast 69th Avenue yesterday.  Firefighters say the dog was unharmed, and no other injuries were reported.  An investigation is ongoing into how the fire started.
