(Portland, OR)  --  An investigation is underway into the officer-involved shooting death of a knife-armed man accused of holding a woman hostage.  The Oregonian reports the shooting happened yesterday morning at the Del Rancho Motel in Lents.  Authorities say there was a fight between two people outside the place, then they learned that the suspect was holding a woman hostage in a room.  She was reportedly not involved in the initial disturbance.  Cops say that while special teams were setting up to deal with the incident, an officer took one shot and killed the suspect.
