(Portland, OR)  --  The national teachers union president will be in Portland today.  Randi Weingarten is stumping for Oregon Governor Kate Brown as she seeks re-election.  Public employee unions have been crucial to Brown's campaign, contributing over a million dollars.  Of that, at least 120 thousand came from the American Federation of Teachers.
