(Portland, OR)  --  A Portland psychiatric facility may get to keep its federal funding despite cited infractions.  The Oregonian reports that investigators found that Unity Center for Behavioral Health allowed patients to hurt themselves, sexually assault each other and escape.  The Oregon Health Authority has found that Unity's problems are being fixed and it recommends that its Medicare and Medicaid payments not be shut off.  The federal government still has to agree to the recommendation.
