(Tigard, OR)  --  The Tigard City Council is giving its approval to the Southwest Expansion of MAX.  Council members voted four-to-one last night to pass the plan, which now moves on to Metro for a vote.  The plan would connect Tigard to downtown Portland via MAX lines.  Metro is set to vote on the plan tomorrow.
