(Portland, OR)  --  An appeals court is allowing an Oregon journalist to sue Baker City's ex-police chief.  The 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals ruled on Friday that Brian Addison showed enough evidence to justify a retaliation suit.  The Oregonian reports that Addison claims he was retaliated against by former chief Wyn Lohner following a 2008 editorial in the Record-Courier which was critical of the department.
