(Portland, OR)  --  A man is facing charges after allegedly assaulting a woman and then setting her apartment on fire.  Police arrested 29-year-old Richard Parrish yesterday for the incident last week.  Police say Parrish set fire to the victim's home at Westridge Meadows apartments on Northwest Chemeketa Lane Wednesday, just two days after assaulting her.  The woman and her mother were both hospitalized for smoke inhalation.
