(Bend, OR) -- A new report shows people are coming to Oregon to take advantage of the state's less-restrictive abortion laws. The Oregonian reports on federal figures that show about eleven-percent of abortions in Oregon were for people from out-of-state. The number is much lower in Idaho, where the Guttmacher Institute says restrictions make it hard for women to access that sort of care. Oregon is one of a handful of states that allow nurse practitioners to perform abortions, which they've been doing for about 12 years.
