Man Arrested For Poking People With Metal Object

(Portland, OR)  --  Police say they've made an arrest in connection to a series of assaults with a metal object over the weekend.  Portland Police arrested 37-year-old Justin Venable near Southeast 34th Avenue and Belmont Street last night after receiving a tip from the public.  Venable is accused of approaching people in southeast Portland Saturday night through Monday morning and jabbing them with an unidentified thin metal object.  None of the victims required hospitalization.  Police are investigating the incidents as harassment.
