(Portland, OR)  --  Portland may be paying for a study of ferries between Oregon and Washington.  Mayor Ted Wheeler's chief of staff made the announcement today as backers of the so-called Frog Ferry appealed for support.   Susan Bladholm of the group Friends of the Frog Ferry told The Oregonian that if studies don't show it's a feasible idea, it'll be dropped.
