(Portland, OR)  --  Police are searching for a hit-and-run driver who crashed into a power pole in Gresham.  The Gresham Police Department shut down Northeast Halsey Street at Northeast 172nd Avenue following the crash earlier this morning.  Police say a white pickup truck struck a power pole there, causing wires to fall onto the roadway.  The driver then fled the scene.  Police are advising drivers to avoid the area.
