Man Sues Burger King After It Reneged On His Meals For Life

(Portland, OR)  --  A man is suing Burger King for reneging on a free meals for life deal they had offered him.  Curtis Brooner said he was offered the deal after he was locked inside a dirty bathroom at a Portland Burger King for an hour.  He accepted, and then spent the next 13 days eating for free at the restaurant.  The next time he went employees told him the district manager was calling off the deal.  The 50-year-old Brooner filed a civil lawsuit to force the burger chain to honor the deal or pay him the cost of one free meal a week for the remainder of his life.  He and his attorney calculate that would work out to about nine-thousand dollars.
