(Portland, OR)  --  The City of Portland is set to begin clearing out homeless camps around the city today.  Crews will begin phase one of the cleanup effort today, clearing out camps on the corridors along I-205, I-405, 82nd Avenue and parts of Highway 26 and I-5.  Social service agencies will be present to help connect residents of the camps with resources, and residents will reportedly receive at least two days' notice before being forced to clear out.  Phase two of the cleanup plan begins in April.
