(Portland, OR)  --  A mother and her toddler child are recovering after being hit by a car while crossing the street.  Police say the woman and child were using a crosswalk at Highway 101 in Lincoln City Saturday afternoon when a 21-year-old driver struck them.  Police cited the driver, who allegedly told officers he didn't seen them until it was too late.  Police say the woman and child are expected to be OK.
