Police Find Pilot's Body At Plane Crash Site On Mount Hood

(Hood River, OR)  --  Police are confirming the death of the pilot of a small airplane that crashed on Mount Hood.  The Hood River County Sheriff's Office says crews found the body of the pilot and sole occupant of the plane at the crash site near Eliot Glacier on the north side of the mountain yesterday.  The body has not yet been identified by a medical examiner, but it's believed to be that of missing 63-year-old pilot George Regis.  He was reported missing Monday after taking off from Grove Field Airport in Camas Friday.
