(Portland, OR)  --  Portland police say they've solved a 1979 murder with the help of a public genealogy site.  Authorities say a serial killer from Texas was linked to the strangulation murder of a Portland woman through DNA.  The Oregonian reports that it's same technique that was used last year in finding California's Golden State Killer.  The suspect was executed 20 years ago for three similar crimes in Texas.
