(Salem, OR) -- Four Oregon wineries are getting support from Governor Kate Brown. The wineries in Eugene, Turner and McMinnville are banding together as Oregon Solidarity to make wine from Rogue Valley grapes that were incorrectly deemed smoke-tainted by wildfires. A California vintner backed out of a deal to buy two-thousand tons of grapes, and the wineries came to the growers' aid to help keep them in business. Brown told the Register-Guard that the action highlights the state's best values by helping others during a time of need.
